MY LEGACY

Legacy Therapeutic Consultation Services is truly a labor of love.  I created Legacy in 2006 - the year my mother passed away.  I wanted - no, I needed - to channel my grief into something that had meaning.  I wanted to create an avenue to use my skills and compassion to help others as I felt it was my calling - my legacy. 

I realize that I became a social worker long before I even knew what that meant. My paternal grandmother would say that our purpose on this Earth was to "leave it better than we found it".  My maternal grandmother spent her live in service to others through her church and community.  I am proud to be following their examples in spending my life providing counseling, consultation and support to others with compassion and respect.  

That is my Legacy.
